Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the draft list of technologies and products to be certified under the “Three Firsts & Two News” programme (First‑set Equipment, First‑batch New Materials, First‑edition Software, New‑technology‑based New Products). Jiangsu Milky Way Steel Pole Co., Ltd., based in Wanshi Town, Yixing City, was successfully shortlisted for its technological breakthroughs in intelligent power equipment. It is one of the two enterprises from Wanshi Town selected in this round.
The “Three Firsts & Two News” is a special certification system established by Jiangsu Province to foster new‑quality productive forces. It aims to identify innovative achievements that represent major breakthroughs in fundamental principles, core technologies and product functions. Milky Way Steel Pole has long specialised in power transmission and transformation steel poles and complete power‑engineering solution packages.
