Recently, Mr. Zhang Jianwei, Chairman of the Group, together with Mr. Diao Wangbo, Vice President, led a delegation to the Shandong Branch to conduct an on-site inspection of the new base that is being developed as a leading intelligent benchmark factory in the industry. The visit focused on a comprehensive review of the construction progress and preparations for trial production.
The Shandong Transmission Tower Branch is not only a key node in the Group’s global development layout, but also bears a higher-level mission: to serve as a pioneer and demonstration zone for the Group’s “intelligent manufacturing” upgrade. In the future, every power transmission angle steel tower and every set of substation structures produced here will be deeply imprinted with intelligence and digitalization. This inspection by Group leadership was aimed at ensuring that this strategic vision is translated from blueprint into solid reality.
During the visit, the leadership team went deep into the construction site, with a focus on the infrastructure specially designed for intelligent production. The Chairman inquired in detail about the integration plan of the digital systems. He pointed out:
“Our goal is not simple replication of production capacity, but the construction of a smart factory that is perceptively connected, data-driven, and highly collaborative. From the infrastructure stage, we must lay down the neural network for the future ‘industrial brain,’ ensuring that every process is controllable, traceable, and optimizable.”
At the core intelligent trial production line for power transmission angle steel towers, the leaders observed demonstrations of key process commissioning. The Vice President carefully asked about the interconnection between the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and the equipment layer, as well as the progress of real-time production data collection and analysis. He emphasized:
“This line represents the concentrated embodiment of our intelligent manufacturing capabilities. Trial production is not only about producing products, but also about running through data flows, validating processes, and fine-tuning systems. We must ensure that our intelligent systems not only improve efficiency and precision, but also enable flexible manufacturing to quickly respond to diversified market demands.”
At the subsequent symposium, Group leadership listened to reports on the overall architecture of the intelligent factory, phased objectives, and existing challenges.
The Chairman set the tone for the future development of the Shandong Branch with four key directives:
1.Aim High and Set a Benchmark:
The construction goal of the Shandong Branch must always be anchored to becoming an “industry-leading intelligent factory.” Boldly adopt new technologies and processes, and become a reference model and strength benchmark for digital transformation within the industry.
2.Data Empowerment and Quality Upgrade:
Through intelligent means, shift quality management from “post-result inspection” to “process prediction” and “parameter optimization,” ensuring that every product is a premium output with consistent quality empowered by data.
3.Synergy Between Talent and Intelligent Manufacturing:
Build, in parallel, a modern workforce and technical team capable of mastering intelligent equipment and systems, enabling the “strongest brain” to command the “most advanced equipment.”
4.Integration of Safety, Green Development, and Intelligence:
Utilize intelligent monitoring and energy management systems to elevate safety and environmental protection to a new level of intelligent management, and build a truly green and smart factory.
The Vice President further required that trial production be treated as a comprehensive stress test for the intelligent systems, with continuous iteration and optimization, to ensure that upon full-scale production, the competitive advantages brought by intelligent manufacturing can be rapidly unleashed.
This inspection highlights the Group’s high expectations and strong support for the strategic positioning of the Shandong Branch in its “intelligent manufacturing upgrade.” All employees of the branch are greatly encouraged and have expressed their determination to go all out—not only to ensure the project is commissioned on schedule, but also to overcome challenges and steadily implement the intelligent manufacturing blueprint. They are committed to building the Shandong Branch into a “smart lighthouse” that leads the future of the industry, injecting strong intelligent momentum into the Group’s development and the advancement of the power equipment industry.
